Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)

Description:

This is Rainey. She came back into our care after an adoption of nearly 2 years. She’s been fine at the shelter, although one of the cleaners noted that she might be a little protective of her food when she reaches for it. Rainey is a beautiful brown tabby, current with her vaccines, and tested negative for FELVFIV. She is microchipped, which is one way that we can keep up with cats that have been adopted from us. We are glad we can follow up when our cats end up in shelters that might not be the safest place for them. In this case, we were notified when Rainey ended up at Bedford County’s animal shelter. But we have also been called when one of the adopted cats was in North Carolina, and also in Northern Virginia. If we can, we do the best we can to retrieve the cats and get them back to us for care and rehoming. We take adoptions seriously. We hope you will as well. If you would like to adopt this beautiful girl, please start with an application from our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.orge PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at [email protected]. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. *Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. *Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption.
