Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair / Mixed

Description:

Rico is a 5-month-old kitten who has come a long way from her feral beginnings. Now fully enjoying the comforts of indoor life, she’s a little diva who sings (slightly off-key) for her meals and knows she deserves the good life. While Rico is still learning that humans aren’t all that bad, she’s made incredible progress. She’ll allow gentle touches and even the occasional pick-up, especially if treats are part of the deal. However, she’s not looking to be anyone’s lap cat just yet. What Rico truly loves is the company of other cats. She blossoms around feline friends, making her the perfect companion for a cat who needs a playmate. If you’re looking to add a friend for your kitty, Rico is ready to step into that role with enthusiasm.Rico is the ideal “cat for your cat”—a playful, curious, and adorable buddy who will bring joy to your home. If you have the patience to let her continue to adjust at her own pace and a cat ready for a new best friend, Rico is the one for you. And who knows - one day she just may surprise you with a snuggle of your own!All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with their initial age-appropriate vaccinations. Kittens have an adoption fee of $200 each or $300 for a bonded pair. Kittens must be adopted in pairs unless there is another young, energetic cat in the home. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.
