Spook is now 7 months old but is still very much all kitten. He stays very busy and loves to play with toys and other cats. Spook is in a foster home with dogs and does well with them. He isn’t a lap can’t and doesn’t really like to be picked up and held. He does however love a pet and lovings here and there. Spook was recently neutered and the vet says this should calm him down some. Along with being neutered Spook is up to date on vaccines, flea treated, wormed and microchipped. Adoption Fees: PUPPIES (under 1 year) $250.00, Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm/lyme test (if applicable), two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medicine and microchip. ADULT DOGS (over 1 year) $225.00, Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, first set of routine yearly vaccines, heartworm/lyme test, two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medication, and Microchip. KITTENS AND CATS $100.00, Includes spay or neuter, vaccine according to their age, two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medication, felv/fiv test, and microchip. We do adopt out of state to approved applicants, if you are willing to drive to WV to pick up your pet. We do not fly or use transport companies. Our adoption fee is $150.00 for mixed breed puppies and adult dogs, $225.00 for full blooded puppies and adult dogs and $50.00 for cats and kittens. Regardless if the animal is a mixed breed or full blooded they are spayed/neutered prior to adoption IF they are old enough. If they are too young at the time of adoption, then it is your financial responsibility to spay/neuter the pet by the age of 6 months and you must provide proof for our files that it has been done. All of our pets are checked by a vet, given the shots appropriate for their age and any other treatment deemed necessary by the vet. All of our pets are adopted as indoor pets and are not be outdoors tied to a box 24/7. The pet you are adopting has been living in a home with a foster family. You are expected to take possession of the pet you are applying for within a few days of application approval. This will enable us to accept another pet into that home. Because we are a rescue, and believe that spaying and neutering is crucial in stopping the reproduction of unwanted puppies/kittens and massive amounts of animals dying daily in shelters across the country, we expect any animal already in your home to be spayed/neutered.
