Grommet came in a trap with another kitten, Wallace. Starving and cold, they both went into a foster home to be provided some much needed TLC! Fast forward a few years....He has become gorgeous long-haired boy who takes very good care of those luxurious locks. Grommet is exceptionally shy, which is the main reason he has been with us since he was a kitten. He does allow us to pet him, but only when Salem is there, and although we know he likes it, he has never actually admitted it! Grommet does love other cats, Salem and Dakota in particular, but he is kind to everyone. He is good at hide and seek, as he tries to become invisible when new people enter the shelter, you will have to seek him out if you want to meet him. Please make the effort as this big, beautiful is worth it, he just needs someone with a little extra patience and love to help him move forward.
