Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair
Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)
Description:
Perseverance, along with her siblings Courage and Prudence, exude all the characteristics that make us love kittens! They are friendly, playful, curious, and loving. Perseverance is the natural-born hunter of the group and takes playtime and toys very seriously. From enthusiastically catching flying toys out of the air to expertly stalking and catching ground toys, once she has her prey, she proudly carries it around while letting her siblings know that if they wanted the prize, they should have been better at the game. Our fierce huntress also has a not-so-secret sweet side. She is not a huge fan of being picked up and held since everything needs to be on her terms, but she stills loves to be as close to her people as possible when it comes to cuddling. With a robust, rumbly purr, she loves to hop on laps and will cozy up in her foster family's arms to fall asleep on a shoulder or against a chest. When it comes to chores, crafts, games, etc., Perseverance wants to be a part of it! She loves to help pull laundry out of baskets, ensures mattresses are in tip-top shape for new sheets, and inspect knitting needles and yarns for quality. She needs to be part of the family and included in everyday activities to thrive. Perseverance would love to find a home with more friendly critters to make friends with, and people to hang out with after work. Having been indoors for her entire life, she depends on humans to meet her needs and trusts them with her whole being. She is not an outdoor cat-there's no cozy blankets, delicious treats, or warm laps out there. If you are looking for an active kitten that can charm you with her playful antics and melt your heart with her sweet disposition, look no further than miss Perseverance! At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days. Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold. Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee. **Dog/Puppy applications - Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient. We do not do first come first serve but we place the dog/puppy in the best suited home. If you have questions about the Dog/Puppy process please email [email protected]**
