NEWBIE ALERT!! Meet Heidi (shepherd) and Lily (lab)! These girls were left tied out to a local shelter in the middle of the night. One of our fosters recognized these dogs as being old clients of hers at her doggy daycare and swooped them up and took them in to foster! Heidi is around 5-7 years old and Lily is 3-4! These girls are bonded and right now we are only looking for a home TOGETHER! Both are very friendly and are doing great at doggy daycare. Heidi is a little shy at first but quickly opens up! They do great indoors and have always been indoor pets. They will get their vetting updated 9/25/24 and will then be adoption ready! Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals. All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications!
