Female Dog, Anatolian Shepherd
Anatolian Shepherd / Great Pyrenees / Mixed (Medium Coat)
Description:
Ana is a 10-month-old female Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix who has already been spayed. She was found out in the county and no owner came looking for her. Ana has a medium length white coat. Her head is brown with black markings; and she is a truly beautiful dog. She weighs 71 pounds so she is a big gal. Ana is extremely ACTIVE and playful. She would need a securely fenced yard where she could play and exercise. Ana would need a very patient owner who is willing to work with her. It is clear she has never been leash trained or worked with in her short life. Ana appreciates any attention shown to her; and we believe she would respond quickly to an owner who takes up time with her. Our staff will continue to work with her; but we know she would show remarkable gains with an experienced, patient, and devoted owner. We are uncertain about how Ana would do with another dog so if you have another dog--a "meet and greet" at the shelter would be required.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.
