Please read ALL below where you will find answers about the pet, our adoption fees and how to do our adoption application! Pet Description: Peppa looks to be about two-years-old, only 26 lbs. Came to us as a stray, never reclaimed. Peppa is VERY VERY shy at first, like a dog that has lived in a pen and never been exposed to anything but she is making great strides with us and is now liking leash walks. She is incredibly sweet and loves attention, and will need a calmer, patient owner so she can learn about the big world she seems to know nothing about. Also- Peppa is only comfortable with FEMALE dogs her size or smaller than her and is negatively reactive to male & bigger dogs. She is easily overwhelmed so perhaps only one other smaller female dog as a buddy would be best. Going to say teens and older as not sure how she will deal with rambunctious, squealing little children. DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more. (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).
