*Amadeus (A135813) 1-year-old Pit Bull/Lab mix that weighed just over 70lbs on intake! 09/12/24 This well-mannered gentleman is Amadeus! Amadeus came to the shelter as a stray, so we do not have much information about his history. During his short stay at the shelter, he has been friendly with the care staff and appears to be respectful of his canine neighbors. It is unknown how Amadeus does with other pets or children, so please be conducting those new introductions in a slow and controlled manner for the best possible outcome. Amadeus does appear keep his kennel clean, and he seems to know his basic commands. He also walks well on the leash, but he would still benefit from a basic obedience class to help him bond with his new family and brush up on his skills.
