Duco (A137256) 7-year-old Alaskan Husky mix that weighed 48lbs on intake! 01/21/25 This hardworking sled dog is Duco! Duco was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of his own. Duco was said to be an excellent sled dog and primarily ran as lead dog and even raced in a couple of races as well! Duco loves his job and even at the age of 7, he is still rearing and ready to go. Duco would love to find a home where he can continue to be a part of the team, he is a strong puller and has a sound mind. Duco has lived outside his entire life and has no experience being indoors. Duco was said to do well with dogs but has no history with other animals or children. Please ensure you are performing those introductions in a slow, safe and controlled manner.
