Duke (A137233) is an 8-year-old husky mix who weighed nearly 70 lbs at intake!01/17/25 This good ol' boy is Duke! Duke was reluctantly brought to the shelter after a house fire. He is a gentle boy who was said to do well with babies and children of all ages. He was described as being shy but friendly. He can be a sensitive boy. Duke does not like loud noise, like fireworks, and he is afraid of water! He also does not like to bark, but he will growl-talk at you when he wants something, like to be let outside to potty. Duke was said to get along with other dogs, as well as cats. He is an older boy, so he was sent out for a workup and dental courtesy of our amazing Shelter Fund! He is now in tip top shape and ready to find a new couch to laze on. If you are interested in this sweet senior guy, please give the shelter a call!
