Calling all Labrador lovers! Meet Sweet Denali. Denali loves meeting new people and is typically overly excited when someone comes say hi! She is very friendly, wiggly and just such a happy girl. If you are familiar with Labs, then you know that they are active and will almost never turn down a good game of fetch! Denali will need a home that is able to provide her with a positive outlet for her energy - she would benefit from regular enrichment as well to help keep her mind active! Its no surprise that Denali loves tennis balls but she also enjoys stuffies and rubber bones. She enjoys spending time outside and is always happy to go on a walk. Her excitement when going on a walk tends to take over and she will pull on the leash. Sheâll need a patient owner to help her learn some more leash walking skills! Denali is a smart girl. She is potty trained and knows a few cues such as âsitâ, âdownâ and âshakeâ. Denali has become a little stressed during her time in the shelter and is hoping to find her forever home soon. She will need time to decompress in her new home! We do not know if Denali has lived with children or other animals. We encourage adopters to bring their children with them when they come to meet her, but please keep in mind that she may come off a little strong at first! Denali has not been reactive towards other dogs in the shelter and has a friendly demeanor when seeing them. We can always provide a dog meet and greet if needed! Denali has Interdigital dermatitis which is a common skin condition in dogs that causes itchiness and inflammation between the toes. We currently have Denali on a special diet and is being treated with apoquel. We are more than happy to help set owners up for success by sending Denali home with a 30-day supply of apoquel and her prescription diet, but adopters will need to follow up with a regular veterinarian. We want nothing more than to help Denali live a happy and successful life.
