Esther has been a very popular girl but has yet to find her perfect match. She is a very friendly, active, excitable girlie. Esther will need a patient and experienced owner who is able to provide a positive outlet for her energy and has the ability to continue training. She is definitely on the right track and has the potential of being the bestest dog! Esther has done great with meeting new people. She is happy and has loved everyone she has met so far! Since Esther arrived to the shelter as a stray we do not know if she has lived with other animals or children. During her time in the shelter, she has met multiple different dogs and has been very friendly towards them. She is eager to play though and can come off strong initially. She will thrive best with a tolerable friend that matches her energy. To be sure that your dog and Esther will be a good match, we are more than happy to provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting! It is difficult to tell in the shelter if Esther is fully potty trained. Once in a home with a more regular routine we anticipate her doing great! Esther does walk well on a leash, but again, can be excitable at times and may need a little redirection. She knows the cues âsitâ and âdownâ. Esther is beginning to become a little stressed in the shelter and we truly believe it's because she is itching to get out to pay and needs more mental stimulation. Please keep in mind that Esther will need time to adapt to her new home! If you feel that Esther would be a good fit for your home, we would love for you to come and meet her!
