Rottweiler
Description:
Meet our lovable senior male Rottweiler, a gentle giant with a heart full of love! He’s the sweetest companion you could ever hope for, getting along wonderfully with both people and other dogs. While he does have some minor health issues—specifically, a fur condition and some arthritis—these are manageable and not life-threatening. With ongoing treatment, we expect his beautiful coat to grow back fully in no time. This loyal boy walks well on a leash and takes great pleasure in snuggling up in a comfy bed with his favorite stuffed animal toys. His loving nature and warm personality make him a perfect addition to any family. Though we're unsure if he is purebred or mixed, his charm and affection will undoubtedly win your heart. He is closely bonded with his brother, Drake, and we would love for them to stay together if possible. However, we understand that circumstances may vary, and we are open to finding him a wonderful forever home, even if that means separating them. Our Adoption Process... If you are interested in adopting one of our fun loving not so rotten rotties, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that will allows us to get to know you better and to make sure the dog you are looking at is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our questionnaire by going to our website, www.rottenrottie.com click on the forms tab, and fill out the questionnaire and submit it online. After we review your answers, if we feel that the dog that you are interested in, is not a good fit for you and your family, we may recommend a different rottweiler companion. After we determine which Rottweiler(s) is the best for you, we will set up a time so that you can meet him or her at their house, where they will feel most comfortable and act as they normally do. We will require a home check to make sure the dog is going to a good home. An adoption contract will be signed to finalize the adoption and we do ask for a rehoming fee of $500 for most adults, $350 for most of our seniors 6 years and above for any rottweiler mix of any age (except puppies) . Our fees for puppies fluctuate depending on how much we had to invest into them or their litter, and weather they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary so that our organization may continue to rehome rottweilers. ALL of our dogs are sterilized, fully vaccinated and microchipped, heartworm tested negative and come with a collar and a leash. We have also addressed any injury or illness that they had when they came to us, or received in foster care. These problems will be disclosed to the adopter prior to adoption.please be advised that in almost all cases we will not adopt our dogs to folks who live in different states. On rare occasion, if we feel that it is a PERFECT for both you and the dog, we sometimes will break that rule for our neighbors who live in Las Vegas. If you live in Vegas and would like us to consider you, please fill out an application.
