Female Dog, Rottweiler
Rottweiler
Description:
She is a purebred beautiful Female rottweiler pup, named Ginger. She is just over a year old. We rescued her and her brother and sister when they were about 3 months old when they were found wondering in the desert. They had been playing with a cactus and lost. Anyway her and her brother Jack were adopted together in august of 2023 and then, tragically, their dad just recently died. Their mom is trying to pull through without him, but had to make some life changing decisions about where to live and how to move forward without him and even though she was absolutely heart broken, she could not find a way to keep her babies. So for now they have moved into their other sisters home, and her owner is fostering them for us until we can find them a more permanent place. Their foster mom says that they are very well behaved and it has been a very easy adjustment to live with them. Thry are super friendly and seem to love everyone they meet. They love attention and snuggling together and with their people. They are happy to be reunited with their sister and every body gets along and they are having a ball playing and hanging out. Ginger really seems to rely on Jack for her confidence and to be reassured. She follows him around, and won't go through doorways without him going through first. We would love to keep them together, if possible. They just had one tragic loss in losing their owner, we are trying to make their transition into the next chapter of their life, as painless as possible. Our Adoption Process... If you are interested in adopting one of our fun loving not so rotten rotties, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that will allows us to get to know you better and to make sure the dog you are looking at is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our questionnaire by going to our website, www.rottenrottie.com click on the forms tab, and fill out the questionnaire and submit it online. After we review your answers, if we feel that the dog that you are interested in, is not a good fit for you and your family, we may recommend a different rottweiler companion. After we determine which Rottweiler(s) is the best for you, we will set up a time so that you can meet him or her at their house, where they will feel most comfortable and act as they normally do. An adoption contract will be signed to finalize the adoption and we do ask for a rehoming fee of $500 for most adults, $400 for most of our seniors 6 years and above for any rottweiler mix of any age (except puppies) . Our fees for puppies fluctuate depending on how much we had to invest into them or their litter, and weather they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary so that our organization may continue to rehome rottweilers. ALL of our dogs are sterilized, fully vaccinated and microchipped, heartworm tested negative and come with a collar and a leash. We have also addressed any injury or illness that they had when they came to us, or received in foster care. These problems will be disclosed to the adopter prior to adoption.
