Meet Chile! He's a sweet and spicy little fella, approximately two-years-old and a male Poodle mix. Chile was found running around the streets with another dog, both very dirty and matted. The owners were located and the story goes that they had been keeping them for a family member who never returned. The dogs were being kept in the backyard, and kept escaping into the streets. We offered to help with grooming and vet care, but the owners stated that we could just have the dogs instead. We were happy to accept and help Chile and his pal (Margarita) get started on their new INDOOR lives! Chile is an outgoing and friendly dog who loves attention and pets. Even before he was groomed, with all those painful matts on him, he wanted love and came right up to us for pets. Chile is a young dog and as such, can be a bit mouthy when he gets excited or when he's playing. He would do best in a home with older children for this reason. Chile is always happy to meet a new friend, be they two or four-legged. He is curious and lively, and enjoys exploring the play yard and hopping into laps for pets. Chile would appreciate a patient family that remembers he has been a backyard dog and will need help with his leash and potty training.
