My name’s Paloma, and I’ve been waiting patiently for my forever home since January 2022 at a boarding facility. Before that, I was living in a shelter, so I’ve spent nearly every day in a kennel since December 2021. I know I might get overlooked because I’m deaf, but I promise you, there’s so much more to me than that! I’m a playful girl who loves toys, and I’m always up for a game of fetch or tug-of-war. Car rides are a blast, and I’m the perfect adventure buddy, whether we’re heading out on a hike or just going for a nice walk. When it’s time to relax, I’m all about cuddles and giving kisses—I have so much love to share and can’t wait to find someone to share it with. I’m also a big fan of ice cream and love dipping my paws in the water on a hot day. I’m housetrained, not destructive, and pretty chill when I’m at home. While I haven’t been reactive to other dogs, I’d need a proper introduction if you have a potential fur sibling for me. I’d do best in a home without small dogs or cats, but if you’ve got a calm dog around my size, I might just make a new friend! I do prefer male dogs. 12+, so I don’t get startled by the little ones. It’s been a long journey, but I’m ready to leave the kennel life behind and find a loving home with a cozy bed and plenty of room to play.
