Say hello to Skittles! Would you believe this young dog is actually a mama dog?! Miss Skittles is just two-years-old herself, but she has already had a litter of EIGHT puppies. Chi Town Rescue took in Skittles and her four-day-old pups, when her former owner went to jail and had nowhere for the dogs to go. Skittles is basically a puppy herself and loves to run and play with toys. She has a great moderate energy level and is up for a walk or adventure, then chilling on the couch next to you, with a chew bone. We had Skittles DNA tested and found out that she is quite the rainbow, indeed! Skittles' primary breed is surprisingly CHIHUAHUA (not Terrier?!) at 48%, and also consists of 16 other breeds! Skittles is friendly with most people, but can get a bit temperamental and nippy here and there. For this reason, we recommend she goes to a home with adults only, and that her home is conscientious about introducing her to new people. Skittles would also prefer to be your one and only dog; she doesn't like sharing! We can't blame Skittles for being a little moody here and there. Raising eight puppies is hard work, after all! Overall, Skittles is a wonderful young dog, full of love, smiles, and tail wags. Skittles' adoption fee includes spay surgery, vaccinations up to date including Rabies, and microchip.
