Meet Spunky! Spunky is aptly named, because this friendly senior fella is full of spunky joy, even despite his sad circumstances. Spunky came to Chi Town rescue when his owner unexpectedly passed away. He was clearly well-loved and reportedly went everywhere with his former owner. Spunky is hoping to find a family that will continue his life of love and adventure. Spunky loves to go on walks and loves toys and yard-time. He's an outgoing and happy guy who will be your new best friend as soon as you meet him. He enjoys meeting lots of people and is always happy for pets, attention, and lap time. In fact, Spunky loves people so much, that he wants to be your one and only dog. Spunky typically gets along fine with other dogs on walks and with brief meetings. In the home setting, however, he has proven to become possessive of his people and will start altercations with other dogs. Spunky would be happiest as your only canine companion and will give you all his love and loyalty in exchange for all of yours.
