Female Dog, Terrier

Terrier / Mixed (Medium Coat)

Description:

Meet Elaine, an 8-year-old Terrier with a heart full of love and a tiny 7-pound frame that’s perfect for cuddling. Elaine is potty trained and thrives in a calm, home-centered environment. Her dream is to find a human who works from home or considers themselves a homebody—someone who can shower her with the love and attention she deserves. Elaine adores her daily walks and is a pro on a leash, but she can be a bit selective about her company. She may react to other dogs and sometimes unfamiliar people, so she does best with a patient owner who understands her need for space and positive reinforcement. A peaceful neighborhood or a backyard where she can stretch her legs and zoom around would be ideal for her. Elaine experiences some separation anxiety, so she truly thrives when her person is home most of the time. She has different relaxing or staying calm when her human is gone, even if it’s to leave to run a quick errand. Her fear of being abandoned/left alone can result in accidents in the house. She’s not a fan of car rides, as they can be a little stressful for her, but with time and reassurance, she may become more comfortable. She also isn’t fond of crates, but she makes up for it by being the perfect little bed companion—she barely takes up any space and will happily snuggle by your side. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion who just wants to be by your side, Elaine is ready to fill your home with warmth and devotion. Could you be her perfect match?
