This dog is being held for his owner and will not be going up for adoption to the public. Due to the behavior that the dog is displaying at our shelter, it can only be adopted by a dog rescue.01/16/25 11:20 I am re evaluating this dog because the temperment I seen yesterday was completely different than what I experienced last eval. I took her out to the yard to meet a potential adopter. I did have Ruben (volunteer) out there with me also. I did know first time around she allowed me to handle he with no issues. And showed a lot of interest in toys. Even plays fetch with handler. However, yesterday she showed just how toy possesive she was. Not only did she try to aggresivly nip Ruben but also attempted to nip the potential adopter when she reached down to pet her. The situation could have been a lot worse if she hadn't backed down and go after the adopter. She didn't break skin but I wouldn't trust this dog to go up for adoption. I was able to leash her up and walk her back to the kennel. -ma
