Description:
Luna (watch my video!) is finally in a temp. foster home from 8/2/24 to 8/20/24 during her vacation time. Luna now gets to enjoy home time with person and daily walks/hikes. She loves playing ball. Luna did great with her mobile groomer and loves the brushing and petting. She wants to be your BFF. She still needs her forever home or foster to adoption home. Luna is a sweetie. Update 8/4/24: She is doing great at her foster home. Already crate trained and will go in to nap. Seems house-trained. Knows it's time for a walk when you pick up leash. Luna loves her food and treats. Takes treats gently. She is very easy good nature personality well behaved and sweetie. Luna has been at Stanislaus Animal Shelter since 7/20/23. Her time was up on 9/2/23 so we rescued her to save her life. Need foster home for precious Luna. She is a shelter volunteer favorite! They all love her. Very sweet loves to cuddle affectionate and friendly with all dogs and people. Knows sit. Kind nature about her. We have back up emergency boarding for her. Huge thanks to Kristie. Setting up long distance transport. Best if we can find her a foster home. Luna seems to be an easy and very sweet family German Shepherd Dog (GSD). Donations towards her emergency boarding is very much needed and appreciated. 9/6/23 update: She is settling in nicely good eater and very affectionate. Fearless and has to check everything out. Learning how to ask for affection gently and how to not pull so much. Super fast on learning anything and is always watching you. She is very agile and light on her feet. Pretty girl with a lot of spunk. I have seen no dog reactivity have not tested with cats yet. Update 4/5/24: No cats for Luna but I have not seen any dog reactivity to any dogs (large or small). No resource guarding of food or toys. You can brush her touch her feet clean her ears and clean her teeth. She is very agile and quick she does love to please. Outside she is much better with men indoors she is more guarded and wary. I believe that that 'spooky' behavior has been learned to avoid doing things that she would rather not do. If I give her a firm and fair correction she immediately becomes super friendly and behaves wonderfully. So the new home or foster would need to be strong willed enough and comfortable setting boundaries and manners for her. She is healthy good stomach (can eat anything with no problems). She loves to cuddle and is super loyal!YouTube: https://www.facebook.com/100020716069417/videos/pcb.6339584986168151/1237147696919689
