American Staffordshire Terrier / Boxer / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
At the age of about 9 weeks, Ruly was rescued from imminent euthanasia at a shelter. Now six months old and weighs 46 pounds. She is highly intelligent with a lot of exuberant energy, too much for her guardians who rescued her, they are both of an advanced age. They love her very much but cannot satisfy her need for exercise and therefore they are looking for a new home for her that is more suitable to her needs. She would do great in agility training or be a great running or hiking buddy. She is very sweet and loves everyone, human or canine. She wants to jump on and play with everyone and has been on six-mile hikes without really tiring. She has been through a five-week puppy training class, plus four visits to her owners’ house by professional trainers and understands basic commands—sit, down, stay, come, and heel. She is house- and crate-trained. She is highly intelligent. She needs a family with young, vigorous adults with no children younger than older teenagers. Another dog would be good. She has never interacted with cats. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, chipped, and registered with LA County Animal Control. Rule is not a Paw Parent dog, she is listed as a courtesy for her guardians. Please contact David at [email protected] or call 626-798-5901 if you would like to meet her.
