Description:
“Lost Girl” took up residence at the Lindsay High School around early to mid September. She was being kept alive by some maintenance workers who brought her water for about a week though she was scared and would not come to anybody. The custodial staff attempted to capture her but she was able to run away from them, returning to her safe spot behind the baseball fields. After 2 weeks, she still would not leave so we started to bring her dog food which has become a daily feeding to include weekends. “Lost Girl” is now starting to trust me to the point where I can hand feed her and she will allow me to scratch her head though still skittish. However, when she see’s me coming she smiles and jumps for pure joy knowing she will be fed, watered and provided some attention. When I leave, she will walk with me until the gate where she will turn around and return to her safe spot.“Lost Girl” is very healthy, clean teeth and spry. She is polite and plays nicely with my dogs when I come feed her with them on weekends. She knows “come” and actually plays with tennis balls she finds at the courts by herself. This dog is adorable and just wants a safe place to be a good companion. If you are wondering why I don’t take her home, I would in an instant but I have taken home 2 other homeless dogs in the past 3 months with 2 others we brought home prior for a total of 4. We are maxed out.My name is John Caesar and the best way to get hold of me is my Cell: 509-341-9066.This companion animal is available through the CVRR "Home to Home" program.
