Daisy is now available and looking for her forever home 1 year old female Dachshund A note from her foster - Still shy but 'opening up more. She follows me around and dosn't like to be in a room by herself, so she sleeps next to my bed. She won't bark but she will howl (only when she's by herself). She d0esn't mind being outside by herself though. She's definitely a lap dog. Loves to cuddle. She will not let me know when she needs to go outside so I take her out when I think she needs to. She's been using the pee pads but misses half the time. She has also started playing with toys! Daisy has been in a home with another dog her size and did well with him. Not sure about cats. She also did well with older kids but would not place her with little kiddos or toddlers. Since she is on the shy side, she would likely do better in a calmer home. Adoption cost for this dog is $400 We are a rescue, and although we have a facility in Modesto most of our dogs/pups are currently being fostered in or around our area. So please be willing to make the trip to see them if you are from out of the area. Our adoption process REQUIRES that an application must first be submitted and approved prior to meeting any of our pets. Just note that we may get several responses on one pet at a time so just because you have an approved application does not mean said pet is on hold for you. One must FIRST confirm an appointment to meet the pet after an approved application has been sent. To inquire about this specific pet, please write to [email protected] for an application.
