Adoption Event Schedule Events run from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM every month at these locations: 2nd Saturday, Sacramento - Pet Food Express 3rd Saturday, Modesto - PetSmart 4th Saturday, Roseville - Pet Food Express Please visit the GCGSR Rescue Page for specific address information. Adoption Fee: $100.00 Summer was adopted 7 years ago as a 1 year old. Due to no fault of Summer's, her owner's circumstances changed and she had to be returned to us. She was very attached to her owner and can be shy around new people until she feels she can trust them. She likes to go for walks, and listens well. She is housebroken and knows her basic commands. Sebeka lived with a cat and chased it in fun if it ran, but would never hurt it. She also lived with two other dogs and was the dominant one among them. Never having been around children, we don't know how she respond. She was very accustomed to having only one adult person in her life. We ask for patience while Summer adjusts to her new life. A reasonable driving distance is determined by where one of our volunteers is willing to drive within our areas of service. That means we don't adopt out of our area, to Southern California, or out of state.
