I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog J:9At just 6 months old and 30 pounds, Florence is a loving, playful puppy who’s ready to find a loving family! She may start off a little shy, but once she warms up, she’s all about hugs—literally! She loves wrapping her paws around you for the sweetest snuggles. Florence is still learning about the world and will thrive with patient adopters who can help build her confidence with positive reinforcement training. She’s already showing her playful side and would love a doggy friend her size to romp around with. This clever girl has a bit of an escape-artist streak (her foster mom has yet to come home to find her in her pen!), but she’s trustworthy around the house (minus some counter surfing) and just wants to curl up on the couch. She’s working on potty training, doing well with potty pads, and only had one accident so far.
