Though barely out of puppyhood, creamy chi-mix Garth has had a rough start to life and is looking for an angel adopter who will give him all the love and care he deserves. Brought in as a stray, he is overwhelmed by the shelter environment and shy with volunteers, likely due at least in part to issues with his back legs, which appears to be congenital. Garth is mobile and gets around in his own way, enjoys playing with stuffed toys and the company of other gentle dogs, and is starting to learn the value of tasty treats. Garth would do best in a quiet home without stairs, preferably with a confident yet gentle pup who can show him how to dog.
