I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog I:4Meet Phee – Your Smart & Snuggly Adventure Buddy! At just 8 months old and 33 pounds, Phee is a German Shepherd pup with a heart as big as her brain! This sweet, snuggly girl has mastered the art of couch cuddles, but she’s also ready to learn, play, and explore the world with a loving family. Phee is housetrained, crate trained (sleeps through the night!), and already knows commands like sit, down, come, stay, and more. She’s eager to keep learning, especially with yummy treats as motivation! While she’s still working on her leash manners and can be reactive to other dogs on walks, with patience, training, and consistency, she’ll blossom into an amazing companion. She’d do well in a home with an appropriately matched dog friend or as a solo pup with social dog friends. She’s still learning about the world, so she’ll need continued positive experiences with new people, places, and animals to help her grow into a confident adult.
