I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog H:7Meet Snowcone, the stunning 1-year-old, 43-pound white husky with a sharp mind and a playful, energetic yet independent spirit! Treat-motivated and engaged: Stays close and eagerly works for treats. Quick learner: Knows “sit” and replaced his excited hopping with an automatic sit for treats. Athletic and agile: Loves to run and will for example, happily jump onto picnic tables when prompted. Social butterfly: A rockstar in doggie playgroup, playing nicely with other pups. Working on leash manners: Pulls moderately but responds well to treat-based training. Independent spirit: Not the cuddliest pup but enjoys engaging with his people in active ways. Snowcone would thrive in an active home with appropriately matched dog companions or as a solo pup with social dog friends!
