I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog I:11Tasha is a goofy 2-year-old, 67-pound lab/pittie mix who’s always ready to trade slobbery kisses for belly rubs. Whether she’s snuggling up for a lazy morning or zooming around with her favorite toy, Tasha brings joy wherever she goes. Happy & Enthusiastic – Her constantly wagging tail says it all! She’s full of love and excitement but is learning to balance playtime and cuddle time. Smart & Eager to Learn – Knows "sit" and "come," is potty trained, and picking up crate training. Food-motivated and ready to learn more. Playful & Energetic – Loves to fetch, run, and show off her silly puppy-like pounce. She’s also a pro at de-stuffing toys—every squeaker must be freed! Sweet & Snuggly – Enjoys morning sleep-ins and will happily curl up next to you for cuddles. Cat & Dog Friendly – Tasha was independent when meeting other dogs at the shelter; she’d do well as a solo pup or with well-matched dog friends. In her foster home, she’s making progress with the resident cats. Slow introductions would set her up for success.
