Looks like: Chihuahua Male, 8 years old, 9 pounds Meet Pepito! This little guy likes to ensure that he is his person's protector and companion, making sure to know what's going on and being involved in activities! He enjoys going on car rides but is content to be alone if you need to leave the house for a bit. He equally enjoys going on walks and snoozing, as he is an overall content fellow. Ready to tuck in for a long winter's nap? Pepito will join you! While he is not big into giving kisses, he will happily burrow into the blankets to cuddle with you. Pepito would do best in a home where he can be the star of the show, he does just fine meeting other dogs but once he makes friends with them, he likes to show off his dominance in ways that other dogs don't tend to appreciate. Pepito would do best in a childfree home. This sweet little guy does have a spicy side and is looking for an experienced adopter willing to work with him on some reactive behavior. He takes a little time to warm up to new people and situations but he does so in time. Pepito will need patient adopters willing to work with him through this transition period but once through this, they will be rewarded with this sweet guy's endless love he has to share! Pepito has had a colorful past, coming to us from Santa Cruz County Animal Services after being surrendered by his guardian, who could no longer care for him due to living arrangements. He was originally adopted from the San Jose Shelter. Pepito would like to think that the third time's the charm- and he'd love to get to know you!
