Looks like: Whippet, Terrier Mix Male, 17 years old, 13 pounds Meet precious Pierre! Pierre is a gentle soul who enjoys napping. He is a versatile fellow and will walk politely on leash, happily poke around a backyard, venture out on a car ride or enjoy feeling the breeze ruffle his ears on a stroller ride. Despite having limited eyesight, Pierre adapts quickly to his surroundings and doesn't seem to miss being able to see. We think that he can see shadows which helps him navigate. He gets along well with other household dogs, but is inclined to chase any kitties he notices. He is a loyal companion to his person, shadowing them from room to room, always making sure to be nearby. Pierre is being treated for heart issues, and his adopter will need to be able to continue his medication and health regimen. He is looking for a home where he can live out his years, enjoying belly rubs, treats, and a guardian who is mostly home (or able to take him along for their day). Pierre was originally adopted from POMDR by a very loving woman in 2016. They had several happy years together, but her health began to deteriorate and she tearfully returned him to us. Sadly, she passed away shortly thereafter. Pierre has been a well-cared-for dog and he now needs to find his next loving family.
