**Meet Charlie Brown: The Snuggle King on the Mend**Charlie Brown is still pretty new to us here at the rescue, but he’s already making a big impression with his gentle, lovable spirit. When he first arrived, he was understandably shy and nervous, mostly staying close to his crate and taking his time to explore. But now, just a few days later, he’s showing his true colors: a couch king who absolutely *adores* snuggle time, with belly rubs quickly becoming his favorite thing in the world.Charlie’s journey hasn’t been easy. He came to us after his owner passed away, and his skin was in rough shape—red, itchy, and covered in scales. The shelter treated him with flea meds, which helped calm his skin, and after a few soothing baths and a cozy onesie, he’s on the mend. We’re suspecting flea allergies but are also considering other possible sensitivities, just to make sure he stays comfortable.Despite everything he’s been through, Charlie is an incredibly sweet boy with so much love to give and plenty of confidence to build. So far, he seems crate-trained and potty-trained (no accidents yet!), and he gets along well with our resident lab and is cool as a cucumber around our cat.
