Penny is a 1.5-year-old tan pit bull mix with a big heart and plenty of energy! This playful, happy girl loves being outdoors and recently had a blast on a foster field trip to the Arroyo Seco Trail. She warmed up to her foster family right away, and her joy was contagious as she soaked up all the sights and smells of the hike. Penny loves to stop for pets and cuddles and will lean against you for extra love. Sheâs affectionate, friendly, and a total cuddle bug who just wants to be close to her people.In the house, Penny is well-behaved and mostly housebroken. Her foster family reported that sheâs great with people, including kids and babies, and she even shows a gentle curiosity toward cats. Penny is working on crate-training and settles well for the night, especially when she's had some exercise and treats to help her relax.While Penny is full of love and energy, sheâs still working on her confidence around other dogs.
