Sergeant is a 3-year-old pit bull mix with a calm, laid-back personality and a striking appearance. His soft eyes and easygoing attitude make him a fantastic companion for those who enjoy leisurely walks and quiet time together. Always on the lookout for interesting smells, Sergeant loves to sniff around during walks, sometimes circling back to follow a scent trail. He’s easy to leash and doesn’t react to other dogs in kennels, keeping his cool even when they’re barking or lunging. Treats? Yes, please! Sergeant is treat-motivated (cheese being a favorite) and takes his rewards gently, with the cutest little nibbles. While he’s still learning the “sit” command, he’s eager to engage in training and is always up for praise and belly rubs. After some scritches, he’s all about relaxing by your side. Though he’s a bit shy around new people and unfamiliar situations (flags and strangers can give him pause), once Sergeant gets to know you, he’s affectionate and loves leaning in for attention. He’s calm, polite, and doesn’t pull too hard on the leash, making him a breeze to walk. Sergeant might be a little reserved at first, but once he warms up, he’s all about cuddles, treats, and quiet companionship.
