Border Collie, female 1 year oldWelcome Chessy! No brainer, one year old, 40lb border collie, sweet as can be found herself impounded at City of Tulare Animal Shelter. Our friends down at the shelter told us what a sweetheart she was and the rest was history. Here’s what we know: perfect citizen in the house crate trained people social, loyal, loving, obedient pack dog, loves the company of other K9s stellar heel on leash intelligent, responsive, knows her basics has an off switch; knows how to chill rides well in the car plays fetch chicken tested and approved (off leash) Interaction with cats and other livestock are unknown at this time but given her neutrality around chickens indicates she’d probably be great around other animals too. As for kids, she is incredibly sweet and gentle with her 7 year old, dog-savvy human foster sibling. Chessy (40lbs) is microchipped, spayed, and UTD on vaccines. She is located in Arroyo Grande. Border Collie people, don’t miss your chance on this super special gal. We are hoping Chessy lands a home with another balanced dog or two. She would absolutely thrive in a pack.
