German Shepherd/Cattle dog mix puppy, maleMeet Phoenix! Phoenix, along with his siblings Raider (adopted) and Spirit were found with 5 other puppies under the floor of an abandoned building at the old George AFB in Victorville, Ca. A Good Samaritan found mom, and with help from a local trapper, saw a hole in the floor of the building, and crawled waaaay underground for quite some distance, got 'em! Momma is a German shepherd mix and was also rescued. Unbelievable, they are all are doing well. We'll be watching as they grow. The goal is to have them reserved by the time they are 8 weeks old- around the end of November. So watch and wait people. These three are already looking like little herders! Phoenix weighs in at ~6 lbs. He was the first one of the puppies to bark. He is a good size, and always snuggling up to his brother. The pups will go home with one vaccination on board, and required sterilization deposit of $300, fully refundable upon proof of spay or neuter. Surgery to be performed within14 days of designated date. Phoenix and Spirit are being fostered in Apple Valley.
