Description:
BENTLEY AND GALE ARE STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO COME MEET THEM AND GIVE THEM A GREAT HOME TOGETHER! The two longest shelter residents! Come meet them and give them a chance to show you how sweet they are! How can you resist those sweet faces?I have a special plea for two shelter dogs that have had no interest and really would love to be adopted together. The shelter may have to separate them so they can be adopted but are really hoping someone will step up to take them both together. They have been waiting since 7/13/24 for a new home and it is not fair to keep them waiting. Come meet them at El Dorado County Animal Services! While two dogs are a bit more work than one, they will give you twice the joy and twice the love. They are already bonded and will keep each other company. Bentley and Gayle are sweet, affectionate and an adorable duo! Please consider giving these two a chance at a great life together!Bentley and Gayle came to the shelter in July when their owner sadly passed away and there was no one to care for his dogs. They are a bonded pair who adore people, are great on leash and on walks, and would love to become part of a family!Bentley is a handsome male brown pit bull terrier, 6 years old. He is a sweetheart of a dog, friendly and loving. He is the more outgoing of the two and loves his dog pal Gayle. He had an old injury when he came to the shelter and had to have one of his legs amputated. He has recovered from surgery and is doing so well!Gayle is a very sweet female black and white pit bull terrier mix, 2 years and 5 months old. She has really come out of her shell and is affectionate and loving, is good on walks and on leash, and loves her pal Bentley.Gayle is a bit scared and shy of young children. But with patience and bit of time the shelter feels she could do fine. This pair would make such great companions for a loving home. They would love a yard (small or large) to hang out in. They would be great walking partners or happy to just hang out with you soaking up all the love!Bentley was in foster with another cat and did well and when walked past the cat room at the shelter both Gayle and Bentley ignored the cats. With patience and proper introductions, they could do well with cats in the home.AND BOTH OF THEIR ADOPTION FEES HAVE BEEN SPONSORED BY A GENEROUS DONOR!If you can give these two a home together, come meet them at the shelter! The shelter is located at 6435 Capitol Ave., Diamond Springs. Adoption days/hours this week are Monday through Saturday from 10am to 12pm and 1-4pm. For more information you can call the shelter at 530-621-5795.
