Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, November 9th from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered. Adoption Fee: $600 Howie is a 1 year old Chi-Beagle who’s looking for a forever home ready to howl-ie with laughter after meeting their new bestie! Howie was rescued from the shelter after being found as a stray. When nobody came to claim him, we scooped him up and promised to find him a dream forever home. He’s charmed absolutely everyone he’s met and we have no doubt he’ll do the same to you! Howie weighs 12 pounds and is a handsome little gentleman if you ask us! Have a hankering for hugs and happiness? Come on down and meet Handsome Howie! Howie is a cuddle bug boy with the world’s biggest heart! Howie loves his people and is happy wherever you are. He loves his toys (especially his stuffed hedgehog) and amuses his foster mom as he tosses it around the living room for hours. Howie has the spirit of adventure inside of him and he is super curious about the world outside his door. He would love to follow you on any adventure you embark on! Howie is a perfect mix of playful and laid back. He is happy to nap on the couch cuddled up on your lap but he’d also love to stroll down the street with you as you run errands. Basically, he’s ready to be your new BFFFL! Howie’s party trick? Using his bouncy legs to hop into your lap no matter how high your chair is. He’s a man on a mission… a mission to snuggle that is! Howie would love a forever home ready to give him lots of cuddles and snuggles. If you have a comfy couch, that’s another mark in your favor according to Howie. Once you win him over, he’s yours forever folks. According to his foster mom, he is just the sweetest boy in the world who deserves a family that knows that they’ve won the grand prize of dogs! Howie gets up around 8 AM and goes out for a walk around the block after a treat. He comes home for breakfast and a snuggle as his foster mom starts her day. During the day, he alternates between playing with his favorite hedgehog stuffy, sunbathing on the patio, and snoozing on the couch. He gets a mid afternoon snack followed by a trip outside for potty. He spends his afternoons as he spends his mornings until the workday ends. He has dinner at 5 PM before he heads out on a long walk to stretch his legs and greet the neighbors. He comes home for some more playtime followed by lots of snuggles. He goes out once more around 9 PM and then curls up in bed with his foster mom to sleep. Howie has lived with other dogs and does well with them, especially if they want to play! Howie walks very well on the leash and is intrigued by everything he sees. Howie bonds quickly with new people so he’d be a fabulous companion for humans looking to make more friends with dog owners. He’s got your back if you’ve got his! Ready for a life changing adventure? Come on down and meet Howie! Howie is an option for a wide variety of homes, regardless of prior dog owning experience. Kids in the home should be over the age of 6.
