The Nursery puppies are a litter of 8 week old Dachshund x Yorkie mixes ready to make the most of their second chapter. These four cuties were born to Mother Goose and were the best little ducklings in the world. Now? They’re ready to fly into your arms and make the most of their life with you! This litter is 3 girls and 1 boy and we expect they will be in the 10-14 pound range when they are fully grown. Come open your new favorite nursery rhyme today! Briar Rose (F): Briar Rose is a lively and energetic pup who never backs down from a challenge, especially when it comes to playing with her big sister, Little Bo Peep! Though she may lose a wrestling match now and then, her determination and adventurous spirit never falter. Briar Rose loves toys, exploring new places, and getting plenty of affection from her humans. With her boundless energy and love for fun, she’s sure to be the perfect addition to an active family that enjoys both playtime and cuddles. Like her namesake in the nursery rhyme, she’s a princess in the making—full of life and ready to embark on every adventure! Little Bo Peep (F): Little Bo Peep is our outgoing gal! She is the most playful of her litter, always ready for a fun adventure or a good game of chase! Full of energy and enthusiasm, she’s the first to dash to the food bowl and is always eager to wrestle with her siblings. With her goofy personality, she’s sure to bring joy and laughter to her new family. When she’s not playing, you can find her snuggling up to her mom or siblings, enjoying a moment of calm. Little Bo Peep would thrive in a home that can offer her plenty of playtime, exercise, and socialization. She’s sure to bring excitement and fun to any household, much like the nursery rhyme where Little Bo Peep "lost her sheep"—but never loses her playful spirit! Miss Muffet (F): Though she may be the smallest of the litter, Little Miss Muffet is full of confidence and spunk! Playful and feisty, she holds her own with her bigger siblings and loves to initiate playtime with anyone willing to join in. She enjoys running around, playing with toys, and snuggling up when she’s finally tired. Much like the nursery rhyme where Little Miss Muffet boldly sits on her tuffet, this little pup has no problem taking charge of her own adventures, keeping everyone on their toes with her spirited nature. Little Miss Muffet would thrive in an active home that can keep up with her energetic personality! Tom Thumb (M): Tom Thumb is the quiet and cautious one of the bunch, with a gentle and thoughtful nature. As the only boy, he knows to let his sisters set the agenda before following behind them. While his siblings are busy tumbling around, Tom prefers to sit back, observe, and enjoy some quiet time with his human. He’s a calm and reserved pup who appreciates reassurance and gentle handling as he explores the world at his own pace. Once Tom feels safe and secure, he’ll happily curl up for a snuggle and show his affection. Much like the tiny figure in the nursery rhyme, Tom may be small, but his gentle spirit is larger than life! The Nursery puppies wake up at 7 AM and eat their breakfast as they prepare for a day of being adorable puppies. Throughout the day, they alternate between playing with their toys, wrestling, cuddling, and enjoying lots of snacks. They love their cuddle time in the evening before they enjoy dinner as they unwind. After one more potty practice in the yard they head into their pen for bed. The Nursery puppies have been well socialized with dogs, cats, and humans of all ages. Interested homes should be prepared to continue the training and socialization started by their foster parents. If you’re ready to start a new tradition, come and select a Nursery puppy today! The Nursery puppies are only an option for homes who have owned a dog of their own in the last 5 years. Kids should be over the age of 5.
