Meet distinguished older gentleman, Brownie. The shelter estimates him to be about 10 years young. He may move a little slower than the youngsters, but we think he'd say it gives him more time to enjoy the little things in life. He is a breeze to walk and takes treats gently. So far he hasn't seemed too interested in toys... he would rather just spend time enjoying your company. Like most of our seniors, he is potty-trained and keeps his kennel clean (yet another perk of a senior dog !). He is fine around other dogs and enjoys affection. The shelter is no place for this sweet old man... if you may have room in your life for Brownie to spend his Golden Years with you, we know the gratitude he will show you will make every second worthwhile. :)Brownie has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match!
