She came from a shelter without any knowledge of her background, so we are thinking she is between 8-10 years old. Akiko is a friendly, bubbly, loving, enthusiastic little girl! She is just adorable; she looks like a real-life stuffed animal. Akiko has a great personality and has already made many human and furry friends in her foster home. She gets along with dogs of all sizes and also likes cats. She is friendly to visitors of all kinds. Akiko is a quiet girl, she does not bark excessively, only a bit when appropriate. Her favorite pastimes are being around her people, cuddling on the couch, and going for long walks. Akiko is interested in being involved in anything that is going on. She is curious and engaged, vibrant. This obedient little girl is fully housebroken and sleeps through the night. She will sleep on her dog bed but prefers sleeping with humans. Akiko came to us with only one eye, but it is part of her charm and does not slow her down at all. Akiko does well in the car and does not have separation anxiety, however she would make a great companion for someone who is home most of the time as human interaction and companionship is very important to her. Is Akiko the perfect pup for you? She is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.
