Description:
Anthony is just 10 months old, and we believe he may be one another one of Selena’s previous pups. His life before rescue wasn’t easy—he and his pack lived outdoors in a compound, surviving on food scraps, never knowing what it meant to be part of a loving home. When Anthony and his family recently arrived at Coastal K9, they were infested with fleas and had never worn a collar, been leashed, or even experienced physical affection. But despite all of that, Anthony and his packmates have shown incredible resilience. Anthony has a gentle demeanor and leans upon his pack for comfort and security. He is looking for a forever home where he can continue to learn what love, safety, and companionship truly mean. He may need a little extra time and understanding, but the reward of watching him blossom will be immeasurable. Puppies are a life-long commitment. They need time, training, vet care and healthy feeding to become good canine citizens. Don't even think of adopting a puppy unless you intend to invest the time and money and commitment required, and you can expect to lose a few good shoes along the way! Please visit http://www.coastalk9gsr.org/ to learn more about our dogs. Click on available dogs to see further descriptions. If you are interested in me, please contact us at [email protected] or call (858) 779-9149. Don't forget to fill out our online application. The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers.
