Description:

Foster or Forever Home Wanted!!!!! Captain the Puppy Needs Our Help!! Many saw the Angels for Animals Network video of a very scared, young, 5-month-old, to be exact, black lab who was given 2 days to exit the Orange Co Shelter in CA, or they were going to euthanize him. Why? He had been hit by a car, had a HORRIBLE break (you can see it in the before and after photo), and he was in tremendous pain. He was reactive; who could blame him? Thankfully, our vet said we have a spot; bring him...and so we did! Captain had his surgery last week (10/14/24) and is already in better spirits! Now, we need everyone's help to cover his medical expenses—his surgery alone costs $5500! We definitely need everyone's help!! Ways to donate: Venmo: @labradorsandfriends PayPal and Zelle: [email protected] Website: www.labradorsandfriends.org Cash/Check in the mail: Labradors and Friends - 2307 Fenton Parkway #107-160, San Diego, CA 92108 Tax ID 32-0195297 Captain will be on supervised limited activity for the next two months as he regains strength in his leg. Captain is looking for a foster or adopter comfortable with supporting him during his medical recovery. Captain is a five month old Black lab who will likely grow to be about 70 pounds. Despite everything he’s been through, Captain can’t wait to be a regular puppy again. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Captain during his medical recovery period fill out our online application at www.labradorsandfriends.org Captain is located in Southern California.
