Foster or Forever home wanted!!!! Meet Chloe the Puppy!!! It breaks our hearts when a young, innocent puppy is injured, and it makes us angry when the shelter she was in didn't do anything to help her. Chloe came into a local shelter right before the 4th of July. She sat for over two weeks with a severe break without a split, medical plea, or any pain medication. Even with all of that, this amazing 7 month old girl was sweet, loving, and happy—a true testament to how amazing she is. Chloe had her surgery on July 22, 2024. It was a difficult surgery but the surgeon was able to save her leg and she is recovering well. Chloe has been cleared for a gentle return to normal activity. Chloe is a little under a year black lab mix who will likely grow to be about 60 pounds. Despite everything she’s been through, Chloe loves all people and dogs, does fine with cats and is loving her foster home and being a regular puppy again.
