Female Dog, German Shepherd Dog
German Shepherd Dog
Description:
Please contact Adoption ([email protected]) for more information about this pet. Gwen is a vibrant and affectionate white female German Shepherd who radiates energy and warmth. She had the opportunity to live with one of our volunteers for a while and she really thrived at their home. She thrives on outdoors adventures, eagerly accompanying her people on walks, invigorating runs, swims, and hikes through nature. With an undeniable love for playtime, she will happily chase after a squeaky toy, her eyes sparkling with joy as she retrieves it. She loves to fetch and play tug. Gwen is very intelligent and is a quick learner. Eager to please, Gwen has learned basic commands and is housebroken. Gwen tends to get along with other dogs; meeting them first is important, of course. She has not met a cat yet, but we can do a cat test with one of our resident cats if her potential forever family has a feline family member already! For all her energy, Gwen has a gentle and well-mannered demeanor, making her an absolutely delightful companion. When it’s time to relax, she transforms into the perfect cuddle-buddy, sinking into the couch (if you allow that kind of thing!) beside you, while leaning in for even more scratches and cozy snuggles. Whether out in the fresh air or curled up indoors, Gwen is truly the ultimate companion. She is always ready to share in the joys of life! This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers. We show our dogs at adoption events every weekend! Check our our website to see where we'll be next!
