Foster or Forever home wanted!!!! Meet Huckleberry!!! Huckleberry recently found himself as a stray at a local shelter. Sadly his family never came for him. At the shelter Huckleberry became a volunteer favorite, but then got sick and declined very quickly. When we rescued him he had to be immediately hospitalized. Once released, he went to a medical foster to complete his recovery. All that is behind Huckleberry now. He’s happy, healthy and looking for a foster or better yet forever home. Huckleberry is about 80 pounds currently but could gain a few more pounds. He is a 5 year old Lab/ Great Dane mix that is housebroken and has some house manners. Huckleberry loves people but can be particular with his doggie friends. He’d be fine as your one and only dog buddy. Huckleberry is strong on the leash and does have some reactivity on leash dogs, skateboarders, bikes, etc. Huckleberry is looking for an active adult dog-savvy family that will invest in him with some leash and reactivity training to help him become the best dog possible.
