German Shepherd Dog (Short Coat)
Description:
Please contact Adoption ([email protected]) for more information about this pet.Bowie is a recent addition to the Ranch and has already stolen the hearts of all the volunteers. He is a handsome, sable-colored German Shepherd with two beautifully colored eyes and a great demeanor. And he’s got personality too! As soon as you come into his area he will want scratches followed by a play session with his favorite squeaky ball. Bowie previously lived on a farm with animals and a family. The family abandoned the farm and the animals and fortunately animal control contacted the Ranch about his situation. It was immediately apparent that Bowie has lots of love to give and has maintained his great personality and energy levels even through his hardships. He is really looking forward to living with a family that can return the amount of love that he gives. He would benefit from continued training and puzzles to stimulate his mind as well as walks, hikes and play time to let him blow off some energy. He’s good with most all the dogs he’s met at the Rescue and is very affectionate with all the people too. If you want to give Bowie the second chance at happiness that he deserves, he would love you forever for it. Please visit http://www.coastalk9gsrsd.org/to learn more about our dogs. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers. We show our dogs at adoption events every weekend! Check our our website to see where we'll be next!
