We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Knock, knock. Who’s There? Orange. Orange who? Orange you going to apply to adopt me? Meet Orange, he’s the sweetest pup with a zest for life and outdoor walks. This 4-year-old, chihuahua mix is 14 pounds. You won’t be able to ‘concentrate’ when he’s staring at you with his puppy dog eyes. He’s active, energetic, and loving. We recommend a family who will walk him, because he’s always juiced up for long walks. Orange was pulled from the shelter after being found as a stray. This little fella quickly adjusted to his new foster home orange-ments and everyone has found him a-peeling. Orange loves hugs and doesn’t mind being squeezed between you on the couch. Orange likes all humans. He does well with other dogs but prefers not to interact with them. He’s not fond of other dogs getting near him when he’s eating, he prefers to dine alone. Orange doesn’t bark at the multiple delivery drivers walking by his patio, but he may bark at a dog walking by. He stops when his foster tells him because he wants to please. Orange is crate trained and house broken. Why are oranges the smartest fruit? Because they can concentrate. Why couldn’t the orange dance at the ball by himself? Because it takes two to tang-o. Is Orange the perfect pup for you? He is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines. His adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.
